1998 Ford Expedition XLT

I just bought this vehicle 1 month ago but now I am unable to keep it. Here is the info as provided by the previous owner right before I bought it. Up for auction is a 1998 Ford Expedition XLT with 4WD. 160. 00 miles. This truck recently passed smog test in January. and has had quite a bit of work done recently. I have all the receipts for the following work: New fuel filter. 2 New O2 sensors. New spark plugs & wires. New air filter. Fresh oil change. Fresh trans service and filter with 2 bottles of Lucas. New front speakers. Other work performed includes a tire rotation. cleaned the Mass Airflow Sensor and throttle body. and shampooed the carpet and seats. and invested a couple days' worth of buffing and waxing. also re-applied the striping as the originals had faded away. This truck has the tow package with 8000 lb hitch. oil cooler and trans fluid cooler. The brakes have about 50% life left. Tires about 35% life left. The truck drives straight. and the suspension is solid. The body is in very good shape. very few dings. No car is perfect. and there are a couple of issues: The front door locks and tailgate locks were replaced because the locks got punched out by an attempted break in. The front door handles were damaged and were replaced with a set of black ones. I planned to paint them green. but my current situation requires me to sell it now as-is. The driver side door may need a new latch mechanism. You can open the door. but you need to turn the key at the same time. I've tried to adjust the linkages inside the door. but no luck. I believe the heater blend door may be stuck. The rear seems to get a little heat but not much up front. However the AC works perfectly. Finally the transmission sometimes skips 3rd gear. and goes straight from 2nd to OD (very firm shifts in all gears in 4WD Low). After the trans service. the shifting got better. and it works better warm. I am thinking a complete trans flush may do the trick but haven't taken it in yet. The rear wiper doesn't work (fronts work fine). and I suspect a leaking washer fluid line going to the rear. I have not looked into the rear wiper issue yet. as I find them nearly useless and low on the priority list. Overall. a reliable truck!FYI.
