***NO RESERVE*** 1969 Ford Thunderbird Suicide Doors 429 Thunderjet C6 trans

Originally a Colorado car. I purchased it from there a few years ago with plans to restore it. Well. that never happened so now here's your chance to own a great example of late '60s American muscle. It should be noted that I drove this car all the way home from Colorado worth no problems. After sitting for the last few years I put a new battery and some fresh gas and it fired right up and ran smooth. Aired up the tires and drive it down the road with no problems. This is a project car that you could drive home if necessary. The car is all original from top to bottom. Very desirable 360 horsepower 429 Thunderjet engine mated to a super durable C6 automatic transmission. Engine runs extremely well and the trans shifts smoothly. Keep in mind that these engines have very high compression and require high octane gas for maximum performance. The cooling system functions as it should and does not overheat. The car will need exhaust work as the pipes were cut off and there are no mufflers. The body of this car will need some repair to return it to its former glory. The worst sections are the rear quarters behind the tires. Overall the car is very straight. The undercarriage and frame are perfect. Floors are great. The trunk pan has a couple small holes due to a bottle of washer fluid spilling and soaking the carpet. The interior is in good shape for the year and all there. It really needs a good cleaning to be nice again. Seats are in pretty good shape with no major tears or rips. Carpet is good as well. The dash board has a few cracks but it's solid. All glass is perfect and the chrome trim seems to be in great shape as well. I have a clear title for the car. I just need to find it. Worst case scenario the car will come with a bill of sale.
