Up for bid is this rare unmolested ORIGINAL CONDITION 1938 81Y FORD ONE-TON PANEL EXPRESS VAN without the usual bullet holes. All the parts. including original power train are still intact. Heavy duty rear axle. 4 speed transmission. nbsp;and 7. 50 x 17" split ring wheels including spare. The metal. with the exception of the roof. nbsp;all looks good for 77 years old. Frame is as solid as the day it was fabricated for sure and all braces. bumpers. straight as pics show. The front fenders have some rust at the bottoms and usual vibration cracks/breaks associated with vehicles from this era. Rear fenders have minor rust at back as does lower rear body panel. There are some ugly welds on the rear upper and lower rear but this was a work vehicle for its entire life. Side wood at rear is very good as is front roof support. Middle roof bow under damaged area is there but broken and usable for template. It has not run since the early 1960's when it was taken out of service. Spent its entire existence. as one owner vehicle. for COLLINS TRANSFER which was a dray transfer company serving Crystal City. Manitoba. Canada and surrounding areas from 1930's to 1960's. It is being sold with a clear. registered. Manitoba title.
