Description

It's a black 1967 coupe. vinyl top with some rust underneath. No or little rust on frame as it's been coated with oil for a while. Clean title. no salvage. Needs some body work and paint. one medium dent on fender. Interior front seats are shredded but back are fine and original. original dash. Needs rewiring. It will start but it's been sitting for about 2 years. PNO. I owe about $80 on registration. but no surprises at the DMV. Okay. enough of the problems. here's what's right about the car. - 351 Windsor V8 engine. rebuilt with 50-60 k miles on it. the odometer is a little off so I don't know the exact mileage. - Flowmaster exhaust system professionally installed- C6 3 speed automatic transmission (will peel out anywhere)- new rims. newer ish tires- racing style fuel tank. neoprene bladder in an aluminum tank. Pics on request- ford posi-traction rear wheel drive- original California black plates- rebuilt to be a "street rod"Important note: The warranty plate on the driver door reads 7R01C92113Had two previous owners that I know of. The first was an old woman in California who used it as a daily driver until someone bought it and replaced the engine with a 302. I don't think it drove a lot at that time until his son took it and installed new engine mounts. a rebuilt 351 from around '72. and the other modifications described above. At that point the odometer was reset and now it has about 58K miles on it. Though different rim size was not adjusted on the speedometer so that number is somewhat inflated. In total the body probably has more like 100k to 120k miles. Not a junker at all but certainly needs some love. I bought it in 2010 (running and driving) with the intention of restoring it but recently came on some hard times. I work full time so investing time in the car now is just not possible. It's currently in Commerce. CA where I work. If you're interested call or email me and I'll go over details. etc.
