Up for auction is a 1950 Ford F-3 Pickup (heavy duty 3/4 ton) with a 239 cubic inch flathead v8 engine. 4 speed manual transmission. 4. 86 full floating rear axel. 6 volt. Everything stock. Clean Title. 68. 96 miles which I believe to be accurate. Engine overhauled in 2001. brakes serviced as well. Few miles on since. In high school. nbsp;I bought this truck from sibley IA. where it had been sitting in a shed for many years and the engine was locked. I had the engine overhauled and drove it to school for a couple of years. It now sits in my shed collecting dust. With a family and a business I need space and money for other purposes. It starts. runs and drives fine. Front fenders were repaired now painted black along with rear hitch. The box has some rust in the front by the floor on both sides. (look at photos) The rears fenders have some rust damage on the back next to the box. The cab seems to be in great condition. Front tires are bald. back one were replaced with new bias ply and only have a few hundred miles on them. The bench seat needs repair. Put a new fuel pump and regulator on last year. The truck has a ground issue with the starting button. I have to run a jumper wire to the button to start it. All lights and electrical works. but most of it is original 6 volt wires are from the 50's. This would make a great restoration project for someone. Remember its an old truck. sold as is. Shipping may be possible. Email me with any questions. thanks for looking.
