***1934 FORD TUDOR STREET ROD ORIGINAL STEEL BODY 350/350 ACORIGINAL HENRY FORD STEEL BODY WITH FIBERGLASS FENDERSBUILT IN 1987 --- WIRE WHEELS --- NICE DRIVERWORKING COWL VENT AND CRANK OUT WINDSHIELD*** This is a 1934 Ford tudor sedan that a friend asked me to list. This car was built into a street rod in 1987. The builder's son drove it to his senior prom in 1988. Years later the owner/builder died and the car was stored in the show room of the son's body shop. After 12 years in storage the current owner bought the car. Work was done to the car to insure it is good running and dependable - AC serviced. new steering box (old one had play). new fan belts and hoses. all new brakes. new shocks. new bushings. new plug wires. new tires. The car still has the same paint (in great shape). interior and drivetrain it had when built. The body is steel except for the fiberglass fenders. We were told the builder had steel fenders but was in a hurry to get the car on the road and went with the fiberglass ones to save time. The body is a bright red and the owner has an old can of the paint. The wheels are real wires with 14s on front and 15s on back. Front end is a tube axle with spring on top and disc brakes. Underside photos are below. Rear is a 12-bolt GM with parallel springs. Engine is a 350 Chevy that was rebuilt and has 15. 90 miles on it just like the build on the vehicle. Engine has a mild cam. four barrel carburetor and headers. Transmission is a Turbo 350 automatic. Interior has red cloth upholstery with bucket seats. console and a wraparound rear seat. Instruments are VDO. Car has Vintage air. heat and defrost. There is a stereo overhead built into the headliner. The car has an electric wiper. Car drives great and in the past has been on interstate trips. Everything works on the car. You can drive it home. A California dust cover for the car will be included. The spare tire matches the ones on the front. They are 14s while the bigger ones on back are 15s. Classic body lines All steel with the exception of the four fenders. Cowl lights are now turn signals. Runs and drives as good as it looks Grill really stands out - bumpers have nice chrome - note the big headlights It has twin taillights. center exit exhaust and you can see the fill for the gas tank Upholstery is red cloth. There are bucket seats and console in front. The wooden steering wheel is from Pilot. It is on a tilt column. Bucket seats are comfy and have seat belts. They are adjustable and the top tilts forward to access the rear seat area. Dash is the same bright glossy red as the body. The car has 15. 90 miles since built in 1987. Instruments are VDO. There is a transmission indicator built into the column drop. It has full instrumentation and the windshield cranks open and the cowl vent opens and closes like original. HVAC took up a lot of space behind the dash. Wrap around back seat - note speakers and cranks for back windows. Headliner upholstery matches the seats. There is an AM/FM/CD stereo overhead. Note the switch for the one electric wiper. Internally it is stock with a mild hydraulic cam. It has an Edelbrock aluminum intake with Holley four barrel carburetor and headers. You will notice the forward hood handle's chrome has peeled. Engine has chrome valve covers. chrome alternator and braided lines Alternator has a billet bracket and you can see the red fan Engine runs well. The builder spent a lot of time fabricating the firewall to fit the Chevy distributor. AC has new o-rings and was serviced. Engine has been dependable New spark plug wires Original patent tag Title - clear and ready to transfer to new owner Car has a tube front axle with spring on top. Shocks were recently replaced. It has disc brakes on front - they were replaced after the owner got the car in 2011 Note the new brake hose - all brakes have been replaced Stabilizer behind the axle Note the new steering box to the right. Only the headers are not stainless in the exhaust. Windshield has been replaced with proper safe glass. Cowl lights are turn signals. It has the Ford Greyhound radiator ornament - the current owner thinks it may be original Real wire wheels - front tires are 185X70X14. Builder added Ford emblems in center. Driver hood side and front fender Doors open and shut very nicely with a solid feel and sound Sharp body lines Rear tires are 225X70X15 Back glass Twin taillights and spare tire Smooth body with excellent lines.
