2005 Ford Saleen Mustang S281 - #437 Produced

ATTENTION: This is a salvaged vehicle and has salvage history. The title we received was clean so be aware before you bid. When we saw the car it had front end damage but it wasn't extreme. I can't say if the previous owner had already done some repairs or not. but when we bought it I felt like any damage that had been done was the way we were getting it. The car looked to me like it had been pulled out of a ditch and was still covered with mud. We spent less than $4000 to get it into the condition you see in the pictures. We bought the kit ourselves. but all other work was hired out so 4000 seemed nominal to me. All we did was had the kit replaced and put two new tires on the front. had it aligned and it was good to go. I have 27 years in the car business and have retired a while back. Still buy cars here and there to sell. and that is the case with this one. Unless the previous owner did some repairs. I can't understand why the car was totaled. and I really don't think he did. However. consider the car salvaged and bid accordingly. That being said. let me tell you about the car. Its fast!! One of the most powerful cars I have driven in my 27 years and I have driven many!! Performs just as good as it looks and you are welcome to have it checked out by any mechanic you choose in my area. I will drive the car to the shop and drop it off. You talk to the mechanic. You also would be responsible to pay for that check out. but I don't mind at all. The only flaw I see on the car is there is a bit of wear on the driver seat where the driver slides in and out and that is in the pictures. The wear is slight but it is there. Other than that the car is truly cherry. Be aware of the history before bidding I would say. but the car does drive out fine.
