1966 FORD GALAXIE 500 429 COBRA JET BIG BLOCK NICE CRUISE CAR A REAL MUST SEE!!!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my auction on my 1966 Ford Galaxie 500. First off I am a car nut and really love all types of cars so I am open to trades for just about anything cool(plus or minus cash either way). This 1966 Ford Galaxie is a really great cruise night car or just going around town and gets tons of looks and compliments every time I take it out. As you walk around the car it is clear that it was restored about 8 years ago but before that the car spent its entire life in South Carolina so under its nice paint there is pretty much no rust anywhere and the underside is as clean as the top. Open the doors and the interior is mostly factory orig still retaining its orig seats which only have some rips on the bottoms which is why I put the seat covers on. the orig headliner is extremely clean and so is just about everything else. Open the hood and this is where this car really comes to life. the car is fitted with a big block ford 429 cobra jet engine with dove heads and a few other goodies to make it not only sound awesome but runs the same. I really only used this car for going to and from the local cruise nights and just around town but its very reliable and will make a great summer car for its new owner. The car is a 1966 Galaxie. orig with a 289 I believe and the engine was swapped out for a 429 driveline. The car would make a great cruise night car and I would rate the car as a very picky 6. 5-7 out of 10. I am a car nut and have plenty of cars and some that are concourse level so I am overly picky as a owner and would not list the car if I didnt think the new owner would be happy with it. With that said the car is not perfect. the paint is a nice repaint in the factory color and other than the drivetrain the car is pretty original. The car still has all the original chrome and interior. The chrome does show some pitting and dings but then again. its a good cruise night car. On the inside the car is also pretty nice with everything other than the tach. . shifter and the radio being original. The seats have rips on the bottoms but the seat covers cover pretty much everything. the headliner is original however its perfect!! About the only issues I would point out is the drivers side mirror is a little loose and the window crank on the drivers front window only is also a little loose. Like I said earlier. this is a cruise night or around town car. its not perfect but I am a picky owner and I would not own something that is not "a very presentable driver" I own several antique mercedes one over $100k and I like this car every bit as much. I know its tough to judge but take a look at the pics. I am positive that after reading this description where I tried to be overly picky whoever wins the car will without a doubt say this car is much nicer than I thought it would be.
