This is a 1959 custom Ford truck featured on the cover of Classic Truck Magazine August 2011 issue. It was built by award winning ALL STAR HOTRODS in Meriden Ct. The truck is painted a beautiful two tone black and black with a beige pinstripe to complement the beige interior. Much time was spent on the customization of a very solid steel truck with over 100 hours alone spent on the tail section alone. Truck has been smoothed and awarded a 1957 hood to complement the lines. The custom tailgate is stationary and draws the lines from the hood beautifully. The gloss black paint highlights the center of the hood and tailgate as well as the cab. Pin stripping tastefully done by East Coast famed One Arm Bandit from Windsor. t. Truck sits on de-arched rear leaf springs and custom shackles in the rear by ALL STAR and front wheel base has been moved 1 1/2 inches with a FATMAN suspension kit and 2" drop spindles with Bilstein shocks. Disc brakes in the front with drums in the rear. Rack and pinion steering. The motor is a reconditioned 302 built by Five Star Engine in Arizona which features a Petronix ignition. Sanderson coated Headers and Flowmaster 2 1/2 " steel exhaust fabricated by Cromwell Automotive . A Lokar shifter is used to shift the C4 transmission. The custom interior was created by CZ Auto Upholstery in Southington. t. and has a Flaming River Steering column. Lacarra steering Wheel. Dolphin Gauges and Kenwood stereo/Cd player. This truck has the perfect stance and the lines are strait and clean. I am always asked how the stance was created and how good it looks. This truck can be yours on this no reserve auction!
