1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible (pre-1965 production run)

This a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang convertible manufactured as a pre-production run for the original Mustangs. From the VIN. this car was manufactured in Dearborn. Michigan and has a V8 260 CID 2V engine (only available in 1964 1/2 models). The car has a generator (also unique to the 1964 1/2 models). Door tag is missing but a photo of the VIN stamp from the inside front fender is below. The car is "poppy red" from the original color palette with black leather seats. black interior. and a power black top. Much of the car is original down to the radio. shifter. seat belts. steering wheel. and dashboard. That also means the carpet and chrome. This 'Stang is clean and runs great - new tires and brakes.
