For sale/auction is a 1932 Henry Ford steel rumble seat roadster. Said to have been a hot rod since 1941. Restored nine years ago to its late 1960's traditional hot rod style. Under the hood is a 1967 Chevy 283 engine with an aluminum Powerglide. Under the rear end is a 1957 Ford 9" with 3. 00:1 gears. The floorpan under the rumble seat is a Brookville replacement. Stewart-Warner winged gauges are mounted in the original dash. Both the front and rumble seats are original. Original windshield posts are chopped 2 inches with new windshield frame. 2-inch chopped folding top that is easily removed for drive or show. The front and rear cross members are original with original style spring. Rear suspension is triangulated 4-bar. Front end has a SoCal dropped axle. spring and shocks with 4-bar and stainless Ford tie-rod ends. 1956 Ford F100 drum brakes. The car drives great and turns sharp thanks to a rebuilt '66 Mustang steering box. To keep and show authenticity. the original fender mounting studs are retained and can be seen in the photos.
