Description |

I originally purchased this car in 2003. The original setup was 351 Windsor and it was, rankly, oo much engine for the car. The engine overheated and blew about 2 years into my ownership. One does not see a lot of Maverick Garbbers on the street, o I kept itto work on as a project car with my dad. I had a few offers over the years, ut I was attached to the car and kept it. It is near running condition right now, ut I have lost the passion to continue the project. The current state is running, ut it needs a tune-up and new C4 transmission (or a rebuilt one) - the car does not shift into any gears and the transmission seals are shot. As far as I know this has been a CA for all its life.
Here is the list of work I have done over the years:
New 289 Crate Engine w/ 302 heads - zero miles on the engine
New header exhaust system welded and attached professionally at a exhaust system shop
New gas tank after discovering the old one was rusting through
Various new hoses from the gas tank to the engine compartment
After market CD deck and speakers installed (believed to be still in working condition)
Various spare parts are included - I have quite a few items such as an electric fuel pump if you want to go that route, t currently has a mechanical one
Also, he rims are original. Magnesium and fetch a good price on their own.
I will include the original manual that was found on Ebay and electronics schematics I found online.
It was a fun project, ut I am willing to let it go for the right price.
This would need an on-site pickup with a trailer in the Paso Robles, A area.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I will answer them to the best of my ability.
