1967 Ford 2 Door CUSTOM 428 Police Interceptor.

THE ANTI-MUSCLE CAR

Actual - Nebraska State Patrol Cruiser #1703

Built Oct. 24,1966 in the Twin Cities for the Omaha Ordering District under Special Order #0016.

A total of 30 cars fulfilled this order. Very few remain.

Registered in the 1967 Full Size Ford Resistry. Marti Report included.

Very Original Car in Remarkable Condition.

Believed to have the original 428 PI motor, owever not confirmed. Date 6E11. The odd thing is it has solid lifters. Does have original Alum. PI intake, utolite 4100 carb w/tag, istributor, an, hroud, adiator &Heavy Duty C6

This is a Manual Steering - Manual Disc brake Highway Monster

Police Cars came with many unique features that are near impossible to duplicate.

Such as - Reinforced front lower control arms (Jack Rousch)

Special (low gear lockout) steering column.

Single Key Locking operation.

Calibrated Speedometer

Dual Piston (Kelsey Hayes) front Disc Brakes.

Radio Delete.

Car retains all original sheetmetal with surpisingly no rot or cancer. Undercarrage has only surface rust with minimal pitting.Trunk and floors all solid, eeding no repair. Frame has two minor repairs prior to my purchase, oth checked by Certified mechanic. Interior seating upholstery has been redone along with headliner. Door panels are very well preserved. The original rubber floors are 8 out of 10. Dash is cracked.

Police equipment includes-

Mint chrome spotlight - period correct - working

Siren / PA system - period correct - working

Whip Antenna - not connected

Police band radio - period correct - non working

Flashing Emergency light system. Front wig-wags, ront headlights.

Rear wig-wags, aillights alternate w/ reverse lights- working.

Car is painted Wimbledon White Ford # 1619-A and is driver quality.

Wheels are original Ford15" disc brake steel wheels.

Very nice correct 1967 Dog dish hubcaps. (not in photos)

Tires are Mickey Thompson Radials. 2 yrs old, ery low miles.

New rear air shocks, erysmooth riding car

Exhaust is solid with glass pack mufflers...really good sounding car.

This is a very unique Full size Ford. It is a very cool driver quality car that could go to the next level without much, r just drive like it is....I do. Sure, ts not a perfect trailer queen but everything works - lights, ipers, orn, tc.

Car presents well, ould use a block and paint, echromed bumpersto be real mint, ut folks seem to like the patina. After all...it is a service vehicle.
