1923 Runabout ( Roadster ) Body on Model A Chassis
Early Period Hot Rod Build ( Project )
Body:
– Some rust ( lower drivers side and here and there )
– Some fatigue cracks
– The wood in the body is only rough trial fit for patterns. They will need to be improved on
( not paying 1,200 + for wood kit )
– These bodies are getting hard to find and this body will take work to look nice.
Chassis:
– 1930-31Model A Ford
– Came from a amateur restored car, ut don’t know anything about it
– Herd it run for about 5 minutes
– Usual fluid leaks here and there
– Leaking out rear main ( my guess the small return tube on the bearing cap, ust a guess )
– Tires are motorcycle ( only to roll the chassis around )
– Haven’t explored the chassis much ( don’t know any more )
Title:
1923 ford Roadster ( in my name )
Extra:
– Thomas Head 6.7 to 1 ( casting flaw in first cylinder, old it was no problem )
– Model A Trans
– 1926-27 headlight buckets
– Misc stuff ( 1929 radiator ect. )
Would not sell, ove this project. I’m moving to a smaller garage ( crazy... right )
NOTE: Last three photos are for reference only and not the car you are bidding on.
No Shipping. US only. No guarantees.
Reserve the right to end the sale early. Make a good offer and I’ll stop it.
