1966 Ford F250
This great looking truck is heavy duty and setup for towing. A great year for the Ford F250, t was the second year of the “Twin I-Beam” front suspension system where the two front axles work independently to absorb road shock. Equipped with overload springs, ir shocks, railer brake controller, oth oil and transmission coolers and dual exhaust. Along with a Ford 460 Police interceptor engine, 6 transmission with a Dave Nash under/overdrive (Overdrive unit is hooked up, ut is not connected on the underside) does not affect the drivability. The engine swap has been certified by the California bureau of automotive repair, ticker is still on the door frame. This truck will smoke the tires at 30 MPH! Transmission shifts smooth through all the gears. Lights are in working order, igh low beams, urn signals, rake and reverse lights. Speedometer functions as well as the fuel gauge.
This truck started its life in San Jose California, nd remained in California all its life. Therefore it has no rust, nd the body is in great shape as well. The exterior paint is not perfect but looks great with the silver and white scheme, as a few imperfections, ut the body is straight. Both windows roll up and down with ease. The doors open easily and close solid. No leaks coming from the underside of the truck. Overall a very fun running and driving truck. The tires that are currently on the truck have a few sidewall cracks, ut I do have 4 other good tires mounted on 8-lug rims that will go to the winning bidder (last picture). Also the radio currently doesn't work, never messed with it, t may be as easy as a new fuse because it used to work. Also the heater hoses are not hooked up, hey are through the firewall and ready to be mounted to the engine. I just never cared to much about having a heater.
