The F-Series full-size pickup trucks from Ford Motor Company were built for over six decades and were the best-selling vehicles in the United States. The last year of the "fat-fender" F-Series trucks was 1953-‘56 “Series 2” which represented a sea change in pickup design and appearance. Among many improvements, he ‘56 model distinguishes itself by its pleasing, ertical windshield pillars and wrap-around windshield as opposed to the sloped pillars and angled windshield of the 1953-55.

Rightfully, hey are coveted by collectors worldwide; however, early 60 years after production of the series ended, riginal examples are almost impossible to find. Especially the 1956 “Big Window” wood bed pickups which command a premium among enthusiasts.
