1970 Shelby Mustang GT500 Convertible Tribute

WOW! Imagine owning one of the most desirable Shelby Mustangs ever created, nd for considerably less than the real deal. What’s even better is that you can drive this one! In fact ninety nine percent of the buffs that look at it or inspect it cannot tell it from the real deal. Imagine owning a car like this for less than what I have seen a non GT500 convertible do at auctions in this type of condition.

This car started out as a rust free 1970 standard convertible. The conversion/restoration was done to the highest standards and no expense was spared. Every piece on the outside and interior has been assembled to match the exact original Shelby conversion. The engine has a mild dress up kit with chrome valve covers and a performance air cleaner. Underneath you have performance headers, einforced supports and air shocks in the rear.

This is a 428 grate engine with a 4-speed Hurst shifter, he car has power steering, rakes, im-blow steering wheel, M/FM, ilt and a power top and antenna. Everything works including the clock. Sorry, o air conditioning. The top is brand new.

Including underside! Please notice the one blemish in the photos. It is a one inch scratch that was touched up on the left rear quarter. The only reason it shows is that all the other paint is so perfect. Notice my reflection? There has been no cover-up of any surface rust or spraying of Armor-All, nywhere. Including the underside. What you see is what you get. I have never driven this vehicle in the rain. Odometer shows 22,626 miles. I cannot vouch for its accuracy, ven though my title reads approx. 22,000 when I re-titled it about two years ago.
