For sale is my 1966 Ford Mustang that was rebuilt 15,610 miles ago. It has been sitting for a year at my son's at college in CA where it is now.
Bought a new battery and it fired right up. Runs and sounds great.
It is being sold as mileage exempt since I can't attest to how many miles it had before restoration, ut I have driven it about 50 miles since I bought it almost 2 years ago. It sat here in CA when it needed a new clutch. Eventually my son went and got that taken care of, ut then it sat in his garage.
It sounds great! It has a Hurst 5 speed manual with a Pioneer MP3 player and Clarion equalizer. It has a kill switch for the engine. I have replaced the clutch in it and it has a new heavy duty battery.
While at my son's the driver's side door panel "somehow" became broken and would need to be replaced. It also got a scuff on the left rear corner panel and the parking break handle is bent. I don't want to bend it back because it is plastic and will probably break. The handle should also be replaced. If I were to keep the car I would also replace the carpets, s they have faded to a dark grey from black.
The hood scoop is functional feeding the 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor with the Edelbrock air filter. It also need a new passenger side view mirror.
The car has that muscle car sound and is a blast to drive. It will need some TLC from the owner and with the issues mentioned could become a great daily driver or restored to show quality.
Oh, t has had the doors shaved, eaning it has no door handles. It is relatively easy to put the door handles back on and they are less than $50 here on eBay.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for looking.
