Up for auction is my 1971 Torino GT. The car originally came with a 351 4 barrel Cleveland motor and a C6 automatic transmition. The car now has a 1971 ford 460 bored and stroked to 532 cubic inches. The motor has a Scat crank and H beam rods, he rotating assembly has been balanced, iamond flat top pistons, aase P51 aluminum heads, omar valve stud gurdle, omp solid roller cam, SD distributer and crank trigger, aase oil pump, anton main stude gurdle, indage tray and 9 qrt. oil pan. Trick Flow intake with Pro Systems 1100 cfm Dominator and Hooker Super Comp headers. The motor is backed by a C6 automatic with a reverse manual valve body with trans break and a JW 5500 stall converter. The 9" rear end is fitted with 33 spline Mosier axels, trange aluminum center section with a spool and 4.30 gears. Front suspension is stock with Calvert Racing shocks and after market coil springs. The rear suspension has Calvert Racing mono leaf springs and adjustable shocks with Caltracs bars. Theinterior of the car is stock with the exception of after market gages and tach., heetah shifter, emovable stearing wheel, point roll cage and front racing seats. Dash, nsterment cluster, oor panals, ear seat, nd head liner are in perfect condition. Dome light, ash lights and key buzzer all work. Head lights, ail lights, reak lights, urn signals and parking lights all work. The battery and a 10 gal. fuel cell are mounted in the trunk. The paint on the car is very nice, he body is straight and all steel. the only fiberglass on the car is the Boss 429 hood scoop. The car is not tubbed or cut up in any way with the exception of trimming the rear wheel lips for tire clearance. I took great care to keep the car as original looking as possible. I built the car to race in the NMCA Nastalgia Muscle Car class, 0.50 index with a 950 cfm Pro Systems carburetor. Sense installing the Dominator the car runs low 10's and has ran 6 passes at 9.90 (in good air). The motor was removed in Feb. of this year for inspection. At that time new rod and main bearings, iming chain and gears, aase oil pump, nd all new gaskets including Cometic head gaskets were installed. The car was featured in the Feb. 2013 issue of Fastest Street Car Magazine. This car is beautiful, lean, nd FAST! If you like the picturesI don't think you will be disapointed if you see the car in person.
