Questions and Answers:
Does it have rust in the front of the hood?
Has surface rust in the front edge of the hood (no holes)
Do the headlights work - high beam and low beam?
Oops left them out of the original auction description - high beams and low beams function properly.
Would you trust the truck to make a long journey?
I would trust the truck on a long journey but would replace the tires and throw out bearing first it that its is starting to make some noise.
What Kind of truck is pictured facing the 66?
The other truck pictured facing the 66 is Thunder Chief. Thunder Chief is my personal street monster and should not have made it into the pictures. But just so you know: Thunder Chief is a one of a kind - Frighteningly Fast - Quality built 1940 Plymouth PT-105 Pickup with a healthy 440ci engine delivering power through a beefed up 727 tranny. Thunder Chief's rear differential is positive locking Chrysler 8 3/4. Thunder Chief is raw, ast, ool and not for sale - But of course as they say everything is for sale for the right price (nothing like it in the world).
Bid confidence on the very cool 66 - its only had two owners and has been an Oregon high desert rig all of its life and will make a great - street rod - hot rod - boat, amper, r motorbike tower - or rat rod.
