This listing is for a ONE-OWNER SUPER RARE 1998 Ford F150 NASCAR special limited edition pickup truck. This truck was produced by Ford in 1998 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ford F series pickup trucks and NASCAR. Only 3,000 were manufactured at the Norfolk assembly plant. All were black with light gray interior. This truck has its original black paint and interior. The truck is a 1 elderly owner and has been very well taken care of. It has its original 4.6 liter Triton V8 engine and automatic transmission. All numbers match. It has its original Roush exhaust. The truck has its original black aluminum rims, ASCAR seats, ASCAR bed decals, M FM cassette stereo and bedliner. It has 235,000 original miles. Even the original spare tire is still underneath it (never been used). The truck has had regular routine maintenance (oil and filter every 5,000 miles) and has new brakes all around. It has not been wrecked, bused, r hot rodded. It runs perfectly and is garage kept condition. It does not smoke and has never been smoked in. The undercarriage is very solid and does not have any rust. It was undercoated when purchased new. It was purchased new off of the showroom floor at Bill Collins Ford in Louisville, entucky in 1998 and I still have the original window sticker.
The truck runs and drives excellent and I am only selling it because I need a 4 wheel drive SUV. It needs a new fabric on the headliner (the fabric cover started to sag a few years ago and was removed). The truck has some hail damage to the roof and a few dings on the side of the truck and the tailgate. When the headliner is replaced, t would be easy to access the roof to repair the hail damage. There is a small rust spot above the driver's side rear wheel well. These issues can be easily corrected. If you are looking for a solid, pecial edition pickup, his is the vehicle for you.
