ONE OWNER! 2010 Ford Mustang GT RTR #002 “Weekend Warrior” SEMA SHOW CAR Story 2010 Mustang GT built for SEMA 2009. This car was one of the first 2010 Production Mustang’s used to roll out the new re design from Ford Motor Company for the SEMA show in 2009. Was a top competitor in the Optima Batteries “Ultimate Streetcar Shootout” in 2009 and a Gumball Rally participant through Europe in 2010 as the official “Puma” performance show sponsored entrant. Car was also used as the prototype test bed for many new components from Classic Design Concepts and RTR. The theme of the car was “Weekend Warrior” and everything was done with the intent of enjoying it during the week and being very competitive on weekend track day events. Car has had one individual owner since new.
Styling Professionally Upgraded to full 2014 front and rear fascia’s and lighting in 2014. Featuring Classic Design Concepts Prototype Carbon Fiber replacement roof skin with “helmet clearance” headliner, erformance Grille, lassic Design Concepts rear seat delete with “Weekend Warrior” spare tire and track day tool compartments (jack stands and lightweight aluminum jack included with the car). all of which can be removed to lighten the car when needed. Kicker audio components with quick release amps add to the option to lighten up for weekend fun. Car also features extensive RTR components including chin spoiler, ear trim panel, luminum rear spoiler, icense plate surround, raphics and 19x9.5” wheels. GT500 lower rear valance with Magnaflow GT500 black quad tip cat back exhaust finish off a dramatic performance look. The RTR spoiler features a CDC prototype “Air brake” actuated system. Controlled by a switch under the dash, t was created to test the feasibility of such a system as a Mustang upgrade. A short video below shows it in action and also gives a sound bite of the cams at work. (Car is shown in it’s original 2010 trim in the video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvfG_jEXosw Mechanical Ford Performance Racing Parts (FPRP) Non intercooled Whipple Supercharger tuned by Donny Walsh. FPRP “Hot Rod” cam shafts, PRP Ported Aluminum cylinder heads, PRP Shorty Headers and FPRP short throw shifter. Suspension is also Ford Performance racing Parts handling package with strut, way bars and spring upgrades for track ready handling. Baer Brakes 6 piston front calipers with two piece cross drilled and slotted “floating hat” rotors. Sparco performance front seats 5 point harness system with bolt in 6 point roll cage. baer.com/14-Front-Pro-Plus-Brake-System-4261211.html whipplesuperchargers.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=28 fordperformanceracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=10309 fordperformanceracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=10705 fordperformanceracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=10704 Car running at idle has all the attitude you would expect from a V8 with an aggressive cam shaft, nd roll on the throttle brings a beautiful mechanical whine from the supercharger accompanied by the sharp bite of the exhaust. 5th gear cruising on the highway pulls low RPM’s for efficient high way trips. A great car that can be enjoyed daily with reliability and performance with the mechanical ability to be highly competitive on weekend track day events, ou will not be disappointed by the “Weekend Warrior”.
