There are only 5 1968 Fastbacks in the T-5 Registry. Only 1 is a J Code Fastback. RARE.

Engine:

Fully Rebuilt Original Numbers Matching J Code 302 Engine. Very rare to be so complete. All new Cam, iming chain, ifters, istons, iston rings, nd all gaskets and seals. New valves and Valve springs, eepers and retainers. Have receipts for engine work. All new cam bearings, ain bearings, nd rod Bearings.

Suspension:

New Front suspension. New upper and lower control arms, ew ball joints, way bar bushings, ew shocks, ew coil springs, ew coil spring holders and bushings.

Interior:

The car comes with the original front and rear seats that still needs recovered but they are in good condition. The car will need an interior kit. I do have some off the interior trim pieces and fiberglass interior panels.

Body:

The body of the car is 100% rust free. No rust. Not hiding rust. The car has had extensive metal work. Many panels replaced professionally. The frame rails front and rear are perfect. Torque boxes are perfect. New upper and lower cowl. New trunk floor pans, ew wheelhouses, ew full floor. Many other new sheetmetal parts. NO RUST ANYWHERE and that is said with 100% confidence.

The only things the car needs before paint is to take a little more time getting the panel alignment perfect, nd finish smoothing some welds. Prime the car, and it down, nd give it a flawless paint job. The underneath of the car has already been painted and cleared gray which can easily be changed.

You won’t find a nicer body on a car. This is a easy car to finish. Lots of time and money have already been spent on this car. I’m selling it for less than I have in it for sure.
