Rare bird, ne owner (Until Fall of 2014) 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau! New paint! Hard to find a better '64 T-Bird for the price!

This beautiful one-owner Silver Mink '64 T-Bird Landau was assembled December 26th, 963 and delivered to the Kansas City sales district where it was purchased from inventoryon January 15, 964. It was a Sunday driver for much of its life.

This sweet ride has been stored in a garage over its 51 years with precautions taken to preserve and to protect from humidity. The roof was replaced and it looks great!

Living up to its original advertising, his 4th generation T Bird "...is so beautifully different!" The body is rust free, ith straight lines and panel.

The original chrome is in excellent condition inside and out.

The car was recently repainted with the original metallic blue color known as “Silver Mink”.

The original red interior is in amazing condition, he dash has no cracks, nd the headliner looks like new, he original Thunderbird floor mats look great! The carpet litterly looks like new under the floor mats. The rear coved seat is beautiful and comfortable.

1964 is the first year of this body style. The car comes equipped with the original big block 390 cu in (6.4L) FE V8, -valve, 00 Horsepower. The Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission is smooth shifting providing a comfortable ride with the tight suspension and new Monroe sensa trac shocks all around. The Michelin tires are in great shape too!

Additional comfort comes from the Swing-Away steering wheel, tock power steering, he new-to-1964 Reclining Passenger Seat option, ir conditioning and the fully functional stock AM/FM radio! Each of the flight-deck controls and gauges work as do the windshield wipers and washer sprayers. The power brakes were recently serviced.

The original owner served on the USS Arizona prior to WWII, fter getting out of the Navy he started a Ford tractor dealership in Missouri. He and his wife purchased this car new in 1964 and it stayed in the family until they passed away and the car was sold in August 2014. Since then the dual exhaust system from the manifolds to the tail pipes has been replaced, he cylinder heads have been rebuilt with hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel, he four barrel carburetor has been replaced with a new Edlebrock 600 and the ignition points have been replaced with a Petronix ignition module upgrade. The owners used it as a road car for trips to their Ford dealership south of town and then as a Sunday driver for many years. The cars incredible condition reflect highway miles vs city miles.

This T-Bird is tuned up and runs great! The car is ready for date nights, ruise nights and to take around to local car shows.
