I am the 3rd owner of this truck, nd it is in great shape. The first 40 years or so of its life were spent on an orange farm in Florida and it has never seen the snow or salt since it has been up here in New England. The tires, rakes and lights are good. It has passed inspection with no issues in the past. This truck has the heavy duty package, hich included a larger radiator, arger fan, 40-6 engine, ” rear end and heavier leaf springs. It runs and drives great, nd the body is very straight. It had a full restoration in the mid-1990s, nd the paint is still pretty good but most seams have cracked paint and there is a small amount of rust on the tailgate seam and the tailgate pivot points (see pics). Upholstery and interior is also in good shape. Doghouse is un-modified, elly pan is not missing. New in the last 2 years: Radiator re-cored, ew thermostat, ap, luminum water pump, ater neck, adiator hoses and v-belt. Rebuilt and adjusted the carburetor. Needs: The dash was changed over from dummy lights to gages by the last owner, ut in the meantime he connected the 3 gages shown on the doghouse. So the speedometer works but the rest of the instrument cluster needs to be connected and the sending units need replaced to matchup with those factory gages. The exhaust manifold recently cracked and is noisy (see pics). New parts included with sale: Clifford Performance 6=8 kit, his has the aluminum intake, ual Weber setup with all accessories and a long tube header. The header has also been ceramic coated. It has intake/exhaust studs, ew gaskets, illet air cleaners, hrottle cable and everything needed for installation. Also, new distributor and ignition control unit to change over to electronic ignition. (The truck runs great, just wanted to get rid of the points when I added all the other new parts) See pictures. This truck is for sale locally and on other car listing sites and I reserve the right to end the listing early if it sells through another service.
