A real time capsule of a car! This is an all original "Woody" wagon with solid body. A true survivor, ith the170 cu. in.six-cylinder. The engine runs, oes not smoke or knock, he two-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission works well. The brakes work. This car yard drives with a small fuel cell. All glass is excellent, ith no cracks or fogging. The car has rust-through in the rear cargo area from the electric rear window being left down, he gas tank was rusted through, s well. I have the original tank straps, nd J-bolts for re-mounting an original tank. (There is a used one on E-bay right now for $140.00, with a new one for around $350.00) Replacement rear window motor is included. Two new wheel cylinders are included. Some patching was done in the floor boards, ut was done well. All four original hubcaps are on the car, nd in good shape. The original AM radio is there, oo! All headliner bows are present. All stainless trim is intact, ot dented, nd AMAZING! Roof rack runners are in GREAT shape, ut could use uprights and rails, f you desire. Every piece of the fiberglass Squire trim is present, ut does have some cracks in places. One stainless trim "Button cap" screw cover remains, ut new ones are available, rom several sources. All lettering and emblems are intact, n good shape, nd on the car! NO RUST in any of the rocker panels! The exterior of the the body is STRAIGHT and in awesome shape, ith no accident damage noticeable, ust a few small dings here and there! All of the lights work! There is an incorrect ignition switch, aftermarket) but it works. The car had been painted at some time, ut it was done in cheap enamel, ost of which washed off! You can still see the original "woody" patterned vinyl in the side and tailgate coves, ith the Black lines that make it look like separate pieces, ust beneath the old re-spray! I believe the paint could be carefully removed, nd the vintage vinyl saved, f you wanted. I decoded the VIN tag, hich indicates that the car was built on September 6th, 962, t the Loraine, hio plant, ith the "Blue 6" Vinyl interior, nd "Oxford Blue" metallic paint. This is one of around 10,500 total Falcon units made in 1962. (very few were code 71B "Super Deluxe" wagons!) The first year of the four-door Squire Wagons, nd one of the first "Super-Deluxe" models! (The rarest of all!) Great restoration, ot Rod, r Rat-Rod candidate! Put a surf board on top, nd head to the beach! Delivery possible at $1.75 per mile, Lower 48 only!) I reserve the right to end auction at any time, s car is for sale locally as well! There are not many of these left, specially in this condition! Thanks for looking!
