1966 Mustang Fastback GT 2 + 2A Code
You are viewing a very nice, ow mileage 110,373 miles Factory GT car. Owned 9 years, ith previous owner owned 27 years. Four owner total. Built in San Jose and delivered to Seattle. Always been on the west coast and garaged and cared for. Partial restoration in 87 with limited miles driven since completed. The car was a very well preserved original when the work was done and too nice for a full restoration.

Body/Paint: The body is in excellent condition with no rust anywhere. Wimbledon white paint from factory. The car was painted Code R Ivy Green stock Mustang color base/clear metallic. The paint is in very good condition with a couple small issues.

Interior: The interior was standard from factory and upgraded to Pony with seat covers replaced in the front with added woodgrain trim. The carpet and dash pad was replaced as well. The rest of the interior including paint is in very good condition. Original steering wheel restored with teak wood. RALLEY PACK in good working order. Heater works with core replaced. No power steering or brakes.

Running Gear: All running gear is in very good working order. A code rebuilt and runs excellent original to the car. The trans from factory was a 3 speed and replaced with a 4 speed top loader rebuilt correct for A code 66 GT. Rear end is 8 inch 3.00 gears, on posi original to the car.

Suspension: Original with maintenance done over the years. Shocks replaced. Drives excellent and needs nothing. Under car was factory or dealer undercoated and left as original in really nice condition. Stock front sway bar. Tight steering with GT quick steer box.

Bright work: Bumpers have been rechromed and taillight bezels replaced along with a few other items. All other chrome and stainless is in excellent condition as original. The fob lamp bar and assembly is original and shows some ware, ut very presentable.

Glass: Original to the car in very good condition.

Exhaust: The exhaust was replaced front to back.

Brakes: Front disc with rear drum in good working order, omplete rebuild with bearing done as well.

Wheels/Tires: Original factory style steel wheels with repo rings and caps. Originals go with the car. New radial tires with under 1K miles.

Work done to the car since purchased in 2006 with less than 2K miles:

Carb replaced with Pony carb 4100 base with original going with the car. New exhaust front to back, omplete brake over haul front and rear, lternator, oses and clamps, elts. New radial tires.

Summary: If you are seeking a very nice and original Mustang this car is worthy of your consideration. Drives excellent. Turn the key and go. Super clean and very presentable. A very pretty car.
