This is a very cool 1964 Galaxie 500. This car left the Ford factory with a 390 cubic inch V-8 and 4bbl carburetor, nd a manual 4 speedtransmission.This car was restored in 2006 from the ground up and upgraded with Holman Moody inspired high performance items. From the top down; the engine sports a 1963/1964 – Ford 427 low rise 2×4 intake with dual Holley 4 bbl carburetors. This dual-quad setup is complete with all the correct linkage and of course, hat Holman Moody signature oval breather! This high performance engine also features Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads.All that power flows out through Hooker competition headers and dual exhaust for that 60’smuscle car sound we all love.The power is transmittedby a Ford4-speed transmission, nd 3.50 gears in the rear end to get her moving quickly.The car sitson its original steel wheels painted red to match and dog dish hubcaps with P295/50/R15 Firestone radials in the rear, nd P215/70/R15 Firestone radials on the front.The original Rangoon Red exterior was repainted professionally in 2006, nd shines to a mirror finish! The Holman Moody inspired teardrop intake hood is painted to match, nd really looks awesome!The original red interior was restored to its stock appearance and comfort with the addition of a tachometer so you watch the rpms when you wake up the beast under the hood.This is a true 60’s classic and it can be yours!
