Ford Maverick

Selling my son's first car. We have a 1977 Ford Maverick with 25K original miles. The Maverick has a 250 ci straight six engine and automatic transmission. Options include, ower disc front brakes, ower steering and A/C (has been removed) and am/fm Cassette radio.

The body is straight with an amateur paint job in silver. Paint has low gloss and shows some shadows and a few runs in the clear on the lower body. Although the paint may grade a 7 out of 10, he custom interior is beautiful in bright red. The bumpers are driver quality showing some pitting and fading.

I lowered the car by cutting the factory coils and had the car too low, ut have since purchased and installed new Grab-A-Trak lowering coil springs for improved handling and stance. The car now sets level instead of the lower raked front end look. The rear of the Maverick was lowered using 1" lowering blocks. We also install 17" staggered Ridler rims and tires, hich we have removed for the winter. New rear shocks installed when the car was lowered. Needs new front shocks and two front tires from where to car was too low. We installed a new radiator a few weeks ago and had the carb rebuilt a couple months ago.

The car runs and shifts as it should. I drove it from Mt. Vernon, hio to Florence, Y when I purchased it. This is a nice low budget classic to drive as is or repaint and do a V8 swap. My son get thumbs up and complements constantly when driving the car. This car is listed locally and on other sites. The seller has the right to end the auction at anytime for local sale.
