I have for sale here a very good 1959 Ford F-100 1/2 ton pickup. This sharp red and white truck starts easy and runs well. The 223 Inline 6 cylinder engine runs great and sounds great too! This neat little '59 has new exhaust from the engine on back and new shocks as well. The brakes were gone through at this time also, bout a month ago. The tires are fairly new radials with lots of tread. The 3-speed trans shifts good but has slipped from 2nd gear on occasion. The brakes work well and the truck rides nicely. The rims are correct as are the original '59 Ford small hubcaps. The heat and defrost blow and has a 2-speeds. The heater to dash ducts are included but need to be hooked up. Both door windows need replaced, ut are flat glass and pretty inexpensive. The following items are working: tail-lights, eadlights, ight turn signal, MP-oil-and temp
gauges, igh beams, ipers(vacuum not hooked up). The following aren't currently working: speedo, adio, eft turn signal, orn, eat/defrost duct needs hooked up. These items will come with the truck: another radiator hose, door vent windows, efrost ducts, ew rubber hood bumpers (6), ew door pins, ew cowl lacing, ew weatherstrips for both doors, adio.
As you can see in the photos, he body of this neat little '59 F-100 is very good. The original steel bed is also very solid. The grill and bumper are nice. The tailgate is in great condition and so are the bed sides. The inside of the bedsides are very good also. The paint on the truck now is very presentable as is. The insides of the doors and door steps will need painted, ut are in good shape. Very minor welding was done on the left side of the driver's door step. The engine compartment is complete. Cab corners are pretty good also. The underside does have some surface rust, ut is pretty solid. The doors and hood open and shut well. The hood springs don't quite keep the hood all the way up. The seat has been redone and is comfortable and looks like new. The dash has also been redone but speedo needs hooked up. The dash looks great. Just paint the door panels (which are very solid) and step wells and put in the rubber floor mat and the interior will be very nice. A factory correct 1959 rear bumper is available from LMC Truck if desired.
This is a very good little '59 F-100 that will be a cool little pickup to go to the local hardware store with. You don't see that many nice '59's driving around these days. I'll bet it gets decent gas mileage also. Please feel free to ask questions. Sold in as-is condition and inspection is available.
