Solid 1936 ford, 50/350 mustang II front non power steering, nbsp;paint shows it was probably street rodded 10 plus years ago, eeds some TLC. I bought this car from Gas Monkey Garage April 2014, e were promised the filming, nd a copy. I returned to Dallas 2 weeks later to complete the filming, t never made an episode so we never got a copy- head monkey was in no shape to sell us the car on camera that day so Christie did the filming with us. I did see this car on the show parked in the lot, opeful but never made the cut. The gas monkeys went thru the car to make it run, bought it without being able to test drive due to filming in process, ut "runs and drives". When the truck arrived to deliver it, t did run, nce it hit the asphalt here in SoCal it died! Figuring it was out of gas I accepted and sent the driver on his way. It ended up needing more than gas, added a petronix unit and coil, ew set of plugs, lectric fuel pump and fuel cell and carb rebuild and it runs! Not sure how healthy the trans is, t did not want to move out of yard the other day so I put another qt. of fluid in it then it moved- surely a trans service is in order. Unfortunately I have not done anything with the car in the time I have owned it and do not see it happening in the near future so this car has to go! Overall this is a solid car, t is close to a driver or its solid enough to tear it down and customize yourself. The rear looks like a Chevy diff, he gas tank in the car is a very nice stainless steel unit, abandoned it because that was less time than figuring out what was wrong with it. there is a hole in trunk area where battery is installed, ould be covered with a patch 6-8" long of 1" angle. Must be towed, f your local I will work with you on delivery, f your really close I can help make it the car of your dreams! If you have money and ready to make a purchase, end me your e-mail and I'll send you video of the car running and 360 walk around. Winning bidder must make a Paypal deposit of $500 within 48 hours of auction close. Good luck and happy bidding!
