1982 Ford Mustang GT Factory Race Car!!!

Own a piece of Ford racing history! For sale is a 1982. Ford Mustang GT "factory race car". Ford took this car off the assembly line on February 22nd. 1982. Bolted a roll cage in it and took it SCCA showroom stock racing. On the Eminger report you see it says "special dealer account. public affairs. " It even shows the tag number on the DSO! (042D857) it also shows the car was sold to Ford Motor Company and shipped to the Dearborn assembly plant garage. I have the 1982 Michigan registration card that's shows owners name. Ford Motor Company. S. Drall. Stan Drall was Ford's public relations manager. I also have the original insurance card that shows insured as Ford Motor Company. I have the '84-'85 SCCA log book which shows it running at Nelson Ledges. Road Atlanta. Charlotte. etc. I purchased it off of a gentleman who bought it from Ford on March 25th. 1985 with 9. 10 miles on it. He continued to race and drive the car into the 90s. I purchased it two years ago after spotting it in his garage. Body is in primer. good shape. two small dings on roof. rear bumper cover has small tear. 302 supposedly rebuilt with all forged internals. 5 speed trans. needs new clutch. Runs goods for a few minutes and then dies. I suspect it's a fuel filter issue. Interior almost perfect except factory Recaro seats faded and needs new carpet. All lights etc work. current Louisiana state inspection sticker. Removed front roll bar for easier access. still have. covered in SCCA decals. Still have front and rear sway bars. factory cast aluminum wheels. Easy resto. deserves to be restored and put back on the track. I'm sure it's eligible for vintage SCCA road racing.
