well. we've all made it through the Holiday craziness. relatively intact. santa did a good job. but know you would have liked more. and. you probably deserve more too. if you were really good this year. perhaps you even deserve this. . you know it would look great at your house. and would even be enjoyable during winter weather. relisted due to non payment on prior auction. EXTREMELY UNIQUE CAR AND CONCEPT. A TRUE CONVERTIBLE AND. A TRUE HARDTOP. THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. this conversion makes it the perfect winter car. a true hardtop. which you can remove during the good weather months. for open air driving enjoyment. the hardtop can be stored on the included rolling upright and collapsible stand. or hoisted on your garage roof. just as you would with a classic Mercedes 280SL OR 450SL roof. roof is easily detached/attached with two simple special zeus fastners and two twist latches. it does take two people to remove or install the top. structural concerns ??? not here. that has been completely addressed with the addition to two computer designed and die cut subframe connectors underneath the car. they do a better job than the flimsy factory convertible reinforcements. almost no cowl shake as you find in many convertibles. and the car has held up perfectly with plenty of use and enjoyment. the car really looks like a hardtop with the top on. and really looks like a convertible with the top off. unlike some other conversions. powerfull 200 ci engine with auto transmission. compression on all cylinders is a healthy110/120 psi. a/c unit in the car. but a/c parts not in the engine compartment. leather wrapped mustang 3 spoke steering wheel. new carpets and poppy red clearcoat paint which has been colorsanded and polished. ford mustang rallye style wheel covers. with whitewall tires. factory console. nicely detailed and ready for any show and shine. one of a kind. and will be the hit of any car show or ford gathering. lots of new chrome and parts throughout. some new weatherstripping as well. original floors have been "por 15" type coated for future rust protection and have an adhesive sound deadener applied for a noise reduction and make driving this car a truly pleasurable experience. either in the open air. or in the comfort of your factory hardtop.
