This 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback build was completed about 10 years ago. The car has been modified with a carbureted 5.0L V8 and T5 5-speed, .70 gears with limited-slip differential, nd four-wheel disc brakes. It was built at the Dearborn, ichigan plant as a C-code fastback with factory underdash A/C. The carwassubsequentlyupgraded for performance and finished in Lincoln Silver Frost with Shelby-style stripes and a very sharp interior. Dubbed it the“5.0 G.T.”, nbsp;it is a rust-free carthat’s powerful, omfortableand sounds great.

The paint is in very good condition apart from a few chips on the drivers door and trunk edge. The car rides on American Racing 16×8 Torq Thrust wheels. A new Ford Carlite windshield was recently installed.

The interior is in excellent condition overall with period lap belts and the fold down rear seat featured on the fastback Mustangs. Though not an original GT, he car has the 5-dial instrument cluster found on ‘65 GTs (and non-GTs with Deluxe interior), lus an aftermarket steering wheel and tach

The original 1965 underdash A/C unit has been retained with a Sandeen compressor. The radio is a retro modern cassette with kick panel speakers.

The 5.0 V8 features an Edelbrock Performer intake and 600 CFM Holley carburetor. It also has MSD 6A ignition, ini high-torque starter, edman ceramic-coated headers with Flowmaster mufflers. Cooling is handled by an electric fan with adjustable relay. The fuel tank is a 1970 22-gallon unit.

Power is sent through an 8-inch rear end and 3.70 Posi. The braking system features Ford front discsand Eldorado discs in the rear, perated by an aluminum master cylinder with power assist. With improved power and braking over stock, he car looks like a fun driver ready for cruising, allies or shows.
