1948 ANGLIA "British" Ford Pro Street/Hot Rod
For Salea "Rare Steel Body" 1948 ANGLIA "English" Ford
This Hot Rod includes: Uncut (not chopped) All Steel body, oth doors, ront fenders, ood, ear deck lid and two (2) hole grill are "All Steel" (rear fenders are fiberglass) to accommodate the "New" 375/60-15 rear Pro-Trac tires
The "Black" Body/Paint: Fab, ody & Design work by Joe Perkins of "American Tradition" Mesa Az.
The Chassis was built by Ken Barrera in Southern California (Buena Park). I purchased the car as a project that was 75% complete in late 2010. The car was bought and restored in about one year, ompleted in early 2013.
Chassis: Tube (boxed frame) chassis with eight point roll cage (not NHRA certified)
Front axle: Straight axle w/ racing spindles, ront disc brakes (GM), A1 coil over adjustable shocks
Rear end: 1955 Olds/Pontiac (GM), arrowed 36 spline axles, :11 Richmond gears & QA1 shocks
Trans: 700R "Hughes" overdrive w/ external tranny cooler installed by Speed Sports of Gilbert Az.
Engine: 350 SBC, 02 "Trick-Flow" steel heads, uilt by Brian Duffy & Mark Clark @ Speed Sports (AMBR engine builder)
Intake Manifold: Aluminum 1969 Z-28 Camaro (polished & hard to find)
Headers: Doug Thorley (Jet Hot coating)
Cooling: Ron Davis Radiator & electric fan cooling system
Wheels: Weld Drag-lite front and rear
(Wheelie Bars & "Simpson" Parachute included)
Fuel cell: 16 gallon "metal" fuel tank w/ gauge
Interior: Rolls Royce leather seat(s), oor, ide and tub panels, uede headliner, ercedes carpet
Top: Soft-top BMW cloth insert Upholstery by Unique Upholstery in Scottsdale
Window: Power windows w/ gear regulators by So-Cal (gear driven not cable)
Trim & Soft Parts: Anglia Obsolete in San Diego Cal.
Dash: "Original bake-a-lite" dash with custom fit Classic Instrument Gauges & Clock, ide "Traficators" installed
Leather wrap "banjo" Steering wheel "new"
