This is my 1978 Mustang King Cobra I am the 3rd owner of this car I found in Maryland. Its been garaged its whole life. Interior is in amazing shape and paint too both are about 10 years old. It has many new parts and rides great. It has a 83 302 HO motor with a 4 speed manual Transmission and T-Tops which is rare and no they don't leak. This model was made for only one year. Only 4,971 were made and less then half of those were T-Tops. It does have the Buck Tag and Marti report to go with the car and a lot of other items and spare parts (taillights, obra center caps) and items I used at car shows. You are not going to find a more complete King Cobra 4speed with T-tops out there. It was featured at the Philly Auto show in Jan 2014 and was at the Carlisle Ford Show June 2014 . Only reason I'm getting rid of this car is because I travel a lot most of the year and I'm never home to let her out of the garage and I hate seeing a car like this stay tucked away. No tire kickers or low-ballers this car did not have a complete nuts & bolts off restoration it is 38 years old, erious bidders only! Thank you!! Happy Bidding!!
ONLY ISSUES is a small oil drip at the timing chain cover its the front seal (easy fix) but goes away when the car warms up, he motor was rebuilt around 10 plus years and I believe the clutch plate needs to be replaced its still the original, nd a good tune up. Its been sitting for about 1 1/2 years and is only going to sit longer if no takers. So if you take my buy it now price, e can talk about having the clutch fixed before you pick it up with receiptof coarse.
It is for sell locally so I have the right to pull your bid if so.
