Barn find of the century
I got this project 25 years ago and have been slowly fixing it ever since. I have a restoration shop and have been in business for over 35 years and have restored several classic cars over the years like Rolls Royce and Austin Healey and Maserati and will give a 20% discount towards the purchase of the car if we restore it for you after purchase. We can finish it to original or do custom upgrades to suit your needs. When I got it the motor had been totally rebuilt, t doesn't have 1 mile on it just idle time along with most of the mechanical and it had a lot of new parts like new glass, ubbers and weather strips. New wire harnesses, adiator hoses, oor latches and mechanisms new front window crank mechanis, he front window opens outward from the bottom. New hood hinges and new hinge for the front window regulator, ew rubber running board covers and other stuff. The car is at least 90% complete. When I got it I started on the body by cutting out all of the rusted area's and fabricated new panels to replace them. All the panels except the front floor pans were made out of galvanized metal and all the seams were welded solid and ground down to make water tight seams. The entire floor has been replaced front to back with new metal along with the rockers and any other places where the floor attached to the body. The bottoms of the rear quarters and doors were also replaced the same way. Once the floor was done I hand laid a layer of fiberglass over the top for further protection. The the entire body was stripped and acid etched and epoxy primed. I started the bodywork and that's where I left off. The trunk lid and fenders still need some repairs but this is the most solid, riginal, nmolested 39 you will find anywhere! Sure you can probably find one cheaper but by the time you do all the rust repair that any 77 year old car is going to have you will have this much in it to get it as solid as this one. It has the original flat head v8. original banjo steering wheel, ll the chrome, ome things I have to or three sets of like the grille strips. The radiator is in good shape with new oem hoses. It still has the original radio and gauge's and clock. If you have any questions or would like to see the car just give me a call. I have tis listed as pick up only but we can help load and ship for an additional fee.
