This is a clean 1961 Ford F-100 4x4. It spent its entire life on a ranch in New Mexico. It has been in a barn for several years but runs, rives and stops. It was last registered for the road in 1981.I cleaned most of the bird dropping off the truck but it still needs a good scrubbing inside and out.
The outside of the truck had a re-paint long ago, ut the interior paint is original. The body of the truck is in good shape, ith some dings and dents from use, ut nothing huge. There is very little rust on the truck. There is a small rust through on one rear fender lips the restis surface rust. None of the surface rust is deep or scaly. The floor pans, nner steps, ockers, attery box, nd door bottoms are in great shape. The wood bed floor has seen better days! The tailgate has bailing wire replacing the chains and is missing a latch on one side. Both doors open and close really nice.
The interior is all there, ith headliner. radio is not original. The speedo does not work from what I can tell, ut I have not takenit out on the road, ust around the property. The lights and heater work. Glass is original, indows roll up and down. Windshield is cracked.
Drive train is original V-8, ut I am not sure of the displacement. Engine runs and trans shifts through the gears, nd the 4x4 works in high and low. Steering feels good, nd truck rides pretty smooth.
Pretty clean example of a vintage 4x4. Tuck would be a great candidate for restoration because it is very original and hasvery little rust. I think it would be cool to drive just the way it is, izza cutters and all!
I can text more pics to you if there is something else you want to see. just let me know. Tim at seven one nine five five seven one seven five five.
