From a West Texas estate, his older restoration was owned by the same family since the early 1960s. Engine has been changed to a 1948 59A 100 hp original type V8. Don't know about the transmission but it shifts smoothly and works well. Factory overdrive rearend (Columbia?). The overdrive pull cable attached to the bottom of the dash on the drivers side seems stuck, ay need some maintenance or repair. Engine starts easily and sounds good. At idle, he engine is so quiet it is hard to tell if it is still running. All glass is good, riginal mechanical brakes seem to work ok. This car runs and drives and could be enjoyed as is. There are a few (rust, r cigarette burns) on the drivers seat. Clear Texas title. Factory radio, lock. West Bend heater has been added. Car has rare Spyder hubcaps. The only rust through I can find on this car is a small area below the drivers feet that has been covered by a license plate. All steel body and fenders make this an ideal candidate for a high dollar street rod. Car is located in Wolfforth (Lubbock), exas. Ebay questions welcome.
