I purchased this truck from the 2nd owner here in Tulsa Ok. The truck was purchased new in Tulsa. It was used as a truck should be used. The truck had not ran since the late 70's due to a faulty clutch. Upon purchase I started replacing/rebuilding whatever needed repaired to make it a reliable, oadworthy, riving, topping pick up. The Grill was pushed in while moving it the 80's. The truck had 2x6" wood bumpers front and rear but were in pretty bad shape. I have read different accounts on 1945 Ford Trucks Built for The Public, ere is what I can see, t was originally a Brighter Green (Mercury or Ford Color?) and it was painted in the early 70's to Black. The truck lines are very straight and seems to have never been in a collision. This Truck is about as ORIGINAL as you will ever find.
