Hello Everyone
Up for Bid is My 1950 Ford F1 Panel Truck
This truck used to be a Paddy Wagon for the San Gabriel PD some time ago
I made it into The Shop Parts Truck and as you can see the body is in Excellent Vintage shape
The rear windows are custom made and make for better and safer driving (blind spots )
The paint is a custom color I had made to match my JeepAnvil is the color that it wAs matched to be. Kind of a blue tint in a grey
The truck has had a hand painted shop sign painted on it but that can be removed easily
The pictures show with the shop advertising and without but currently it has the hand lettering on it
I will gladly remove the lettering if the winner wants or can leave certain parts of it onThat is completely up to the winner
Obviously this truck can be used for advertising but it is a very reliable driver as well
Here is the drive train-276 Ford Flathead V8-4" Merc Crank-3 speed Top Loader (all internals gone through)-Msd Electronic Ignition with vacuum advance-9" ford Rear end (new axle bearings and seals)- 276 flathead block has been thermal baked to remove any rust or corrosion- engine built and has original SHARP early Block Letter Heads-NEW Offenhauset Dual intake-2 Stromberg 97s Completely rebuilt and gone thorough by Uncle Max (Stromberg Carb specialist)-All new brakes-All new Brake hydraulic components-All new fuel lines- Flathead engine has a cam and headers that flow into New glass packs-Flathead engine has upgraded oil circulation system for better oil supply to top end-Original Radiator completely recored-Rebuilt Original Generator that has been professionally converted to 12 Volts-New battery-New water pumps-New alarm-Interior has Dynamat and Rubber molded flooring cover from C and G early ford-Bucket seats have been reupholstered /springs repaired / and new foam /very comfyColor is a dirty ocean blue /green with white pipeline-interior is white-New wiring Harness and Fuse panel- Original Gauges have been converted to modern electrical and work flawlessly but retain original art look-New Firestone 235/85/16 Transforce HT-original 16" wheels
Over the course of this Trucks life it has seen many jobs
From its originIt was made longer to be a paddy wagonThan back to stock specs and wheel baseThe work was done by a reputable shop/ builder who also built the engine professionally as well as custom made the rear windows
All this Truck needs is a new taskAnd a few more touches
- interior needs finished or could be run as is- cool for a shop/ business advertising-title is clean and tags are current
Only reason I'm selling is I have too many other projects and need to thin out some just to finish the others
Check my feedbackAsk questionsBid with confidence
This is a clean / strong / example of what made Ford Trucks built to last
I am sure I am leaving out a lot of other things but I will update the ad as they come up
Truck sold as is
Truck can be a daily driver if necessary
If shipping is needed I will assist the buyer as much as I can but buyer is responsible for setting that up and paying for it
Payment must clear before truck is taken
I answer emails quickly and more pictures can be sent of details as needed for buyer to be made knowledgable of anything they wish to know
