Thank you for your interest. I purchased this Excursion in late 2011. It was bought at a Ford dealership in Effingham Illinois. The truck was bought out of necessity when my youngest son was finally coming home from the hospital, e was born 4.5 months early and spent a year in the NICU before coming home. We needed this large of a vehicle when he came home due to the amount of medical equipment he required at the time. However over the years his health continued to improve therefore requiring less dependency on such a large vehicle.
The Excursion has 150,100 miles on the V10 motor I've never had any problems with it mechanically while I've owned it. My wife drove it as a daily driver for 18 months while I was deployed.The interior is what would should expect from a 15 yr old truck. The tires were purchased new in Pensacola Florida while in down there for training in Feb 2015, here may be 5000 miles on them. The following items were replaced prior to me going to FL for training; front/ rear shocks, ront/ rear breaks, all joints as well as wheel hubs on both sides. It recently had an oil change, uel and air filter and spark plugs replaced. This truck is driven VERY little and is very reliable.
