Beautiful 1955 Thunderbird! The first and best year this is truly an iconic vehicle! This car has been in my personal collection for over 10 years and has been a wonderful vehicle! I must sell it because a new baby is here (Truck) and something has to go! This car underwent a frame off nut and bolt restoration and is in wonderful condition it is an older restoration that has held up very well. It sat in a Museum in Lancaster PA. for 10 years and when the owner passed away it was sold as part of his estate. The red paint is beautiful, hiny and smooth there are a few flea bites to mention they are shown in the pictures one up front just above the grill one on the rear fender on top where it looks like someone set the hard top on the fender and a scratch about 3” long on the passenger front fender it is down low so it is not as noticeable other than that it is a beautiful car the color is not original. The motor runs great and has an Edelbrock carberator installed for reliability and the original T Pot carberator will be included in the sale but you will not use it as it runs fantastic with this set up. It retains the original 6 volt system, installed a hidden audio system behind the seat on a removable mounting board so it can easily be removed with a small gel cell to power it so I could have music with a modern system the original AM radio works but is not connected to the front speaker everything works as it should on the car. It comes with the original non porthole hard top that is painted body color and a white aftermarket soft top. If the “Buy it Now” option is used all the extra parts will be included with the car if “Buy it Now” is not used I will offer the parts at additional cost! Some of the parts include an extra intake manifold with restored T Pot carburetor, set of heads, riginal air cleaner, iscellaneous electrical parts etc. Sold as is where is buyer is responsible for shipping I will help coordinate as much as possible. Car is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early! Thanks and good luck bidding! This Thunderbird truley is stunning!
