Too many things in my driveway and I'm currently building this incredible van's upgrade. Considering the ridiculous cost of a Ford version SportsMobile ( Sport Mobile / Sportmobile ) this is an alternative that will get you almost anywhere that you can actually afford. 2 inch lift accomplished via simple blocks and leaf springs left suspension intact.
The miles are approximately 120,000 but growing as the van is currently still driven. Please see pictures for an idea of all the features that are in this 4x4 RV Motorhome Van. I have a converted this old Ambulance 4x4 for sale. I am now doing a very extreme 7.3 diesel RV conversion. Get it before I'm done as the price will rise.
This van is my fourth in what seems to be a long career of our 4x4 camping tastes. Im sure I'm forgetting something on this van but below is a list of what it has. It has a new folding couch that makes a bed and shore power heat. AC front and rear that are engine driven. I have a simple way for you (or me for added cost) to add shore power ac on the cheap. We can talk about that if you like. This thing will tow a house and has gotten as high as 21 mpg. Towing a trailer drops you to 15-18.
1) Quigley 4x4 Conversion when new
2) Every service record from when it was new.
2) Limited slip 4.10 axle differential differentials in the back AND front. This makes this machine a TRUE 4 wheel drive.
3) Side Door spot light
3) Fog lights in all 4 directions that are high intensity.
4) 5 Fogs in the front will turn night into day.
5) Exterior shower tent.
6) Exhaust Fan
7) Rear Air and Heat
8) Front AC - Heat
9) Inverter
10) External 110AC 30amp connection to power inside electrical outlets from an outside source.
11) Refrigerator and Freezer
12) Crazy amounts of storage
13) Manual Locking Hubs
14) Mechanical 4x4 control stick. Won’t fail like push button types.
15) Hi and Lo range 4x4
16) Tow bar with wiring
17) 2 batteries
18) Brake Box
19) A never used portable pottie system
20) Snow tires capable of taking studs for snow or ice with more than 75% tread remaining on back – Front tires are a month old
22) High Capacity Alternator
23) CB Radio included but not installed
25) Microwave included
27) Moe (see below for more details about Moe) This thing is incredible.
28) 2 inch receiver mounted and welded to frame for a winch or front rack. (front rack and winch not included)
29) wiring with the warn harness already in place for your winch
30) Ungodly amounts of exterior storage, ocking compartments
31) Ladder to get access to the roof for putting out chairs at NASCAR races or whatever you like.
This vehicle has successfully driven on unimproved and extreme hunting roads. It is a breeze on soft sand. If you are looking for a beach machine, repper vehicle, r hunter, his is it. Remember this van has true 4 wheel drive accomplished by dual limited slip differentials. Vehicle recently passed state inspection. EVERYWHERE we go, e get looks, omments, nd if I'm at a gas station, almost always have to give a tour of the inside. I only buy things that are unique and your jealous friends would have trouble duplicating. This is the cheapest way I can think of to get a 4x4 RV with out the inflated prices of a Sportmobile. Don't misunderstand me, port Mobile makes a great 4x4 pop up RV, ut when I take this one to Carolina Beach -- I get WAY more attention than my two buddies with the Sportmobile or the Chanook. Compare the prices of a Roadtrek and the value increases even more. And This van is simply a power house. The legendary 7.3 turbo diesel and all maintenance since new
Finally the van comes with a $2800.00 MOE set up. Look at pictures. The rear rack slides into your receiver for trips to the Outer Banks or other places trailers are not welcome. The four covered cubes free a lot of storage room inside your 4x4 RV and provide the tools for a great camping or tailgate experience. One cube is a cooler, ne cube is a grill, ne cube is a stereo cube with it's own battery. The battery will run 48 hours on one charge thanks to modern technology. It has a kareoke device as well and sounds incredibly sharp. The last cube is a three drawer storage cube for utensils, ights, ools, tc.
