For sale is this beautiful 1993 Ford Escort LX Wagon, quipped with a 1.9L 4 cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission. I am only the 2nd owner of this car. It was originally purchased from salesperson Tony Malerba at Faulkner Ford and Mercury in Quakertown, A in 1993. The original purchase price was $10,899. It has been garage kept its entire life with just 69,950 original miles. It wears the original Strawberry Metallic Red paint which looks more like a burgundy with minor flaws and dings as seen in photos. The interior is also original and in nearly perfect condition, he pictures do not do it justice. This car is 100% stock, ith only regular maintenance and related upgrades performed. I have owned it for about 4 years as a secondary vehicle, riven about 100 miles a month.

Since I have owned it, few tasteful upgrades along with the regular maintenance have been performed. Although it can be tagged historic to avoid emissions and inspections in Maryland, his car is currently insured and tagged with regular plates, nd passed emissions and inspection with no problems. Emissions testing was just performed in January of this year. The car did not need any of the following, ut I repaired/replaced things just to keep the vehicle reliable. I have taken this car on a 780 mile long trip once with no problems.

According to the Carfax/vehicle history report the car is in better than normal condition, hich you can see for yourself. Other than being a 2-owner vehicle, t has never been in any kind of accident and has a clean Maryland title. I will also provide a Bill of Sale with the vehicle. I have all the original owner manuals, ealer information, ven the original window sticker!

It has a complete, rand new Monroe premium suspension and sway bar linkages/bushings for a smooth and quiet ride. The original spare tire and jack are included and appear to never have been used.

Upgrades/Replaced Parts

• Front end/hood bra seen in photos is included, ut is currently off the vehicle. I took it off when I had the car waxed.

• Yakima Load Warrior roof basket seen in photos was installed on vehicle; I took this off also when I had it waxed. It is not included but for an additional $200 I can included it and have it installed before vehicle is picked up.

Issues

• Paint/body: Minor dents/door dings as expected on a vehicle of this age, inor clear coat peeling on front drivers side bumper and grille, ear bumper has crack on top (I sat a 50lb bag on bumper and it cracked.)

• Passenger side front window is difficult to roll up if it is rolled farther than halfway down. If the regulator needs replaced they sell for $35 on eBay.

• Passenger side front door interior door handle does not work, as to be opened from outside handle. I looked at it and there is a small plastic piece that broke, ecures rod to handle. I could not find the plastic thing at the auto parts store but I am sure they can be had for less than $5.

• Check engine light appears intermittently and motor will stutter, ake car out of gear and rev engine and it goes away. Code says fuel/air mixture at limit. Does not affect drivability. It resets but comes back.
