Im selling my baby. A 1971 Mach 1 Ram Air 351C. the carb is a 600cfm from summit racing #SUM-M08600VS the choke probably just needs to set higher because it would only come on when it is really cold outside. it has a summit cam in it #SUM-K33042 and the distributor is also summit #SUM-850025. the block is standard bore and the machine shop I took it to for hot tanking told me that it did not need to be bored also they felt like the engine was fairly low mileage meaning that the odometer is likely actual miles. the crank journals also are standard size. the machine shop put cam bearings in it andI put new clevite rod/main bearings and moly rings. the heads are 2V and the valve seats and guides were in good shape so the valves were lapped and new seals were installed. The motor is solid and strong and quick. Headers and cherry bombs it sounds and runsawesome. It has a brand new custominterior thatis in excellent condition. The rear end was replaced for a 9in and the transmission is replaced automatic toa excellent conditionSROD-4 spdstandard, hich I don't like so Ill consider that on the price. It needs a hydraulic clutch or back to an auto trany.Since the standard in there is in great shape, trade shouldn't for an autobe a problem if you took that route. the car is numbered matched except for the trany and the rear end, nd I have the original mags that came with the car. I took it to a well known local car restoration guy and he said for +-$12k more into the car ( to really tweak it up) it would be a$35k car hands down. Sooo....let the bidding begin. I'm not giving itaway but Iam going to ask a very reasonable price. This is a nice car...turns a lot of heads.....Ask me anything about it.On Feb-18-16 at 12:19:55 PST, eller added the following information:
There seems to be some questions about whether the car runs....what kind of condition...so, ere is a link to a video I made today. Price a car like this anywhere. I'm not going to give it away, ut I have come way down on the price.
