1972 FORD OLD SCHOOL DRAG CAR HAULER! GASSER OR RAT ROD RAMP TRUCK! THUNDERBOLT

I have owned and maintained this fantastic truck for the last few years.
This has been one of the most trusty, rouble free vehicles I have EVER owned!

Hauled my old cars all over this area from Indianapolis to Nashville, N., rom St. Louis, O. to Columbus, H..

RELIABLE as the mail! Never failed me in any situation PERIOD.

I don't use it as much anymore and it needs to go to someone who needs it.

Previously this hauler was owned and used as a drag car hauler in Ky.
Actually the truck does really well of gas and it has been SO MUCH better than pulling and backing a trailer.

1972 Ford F-250 with a 16' dovetail bed.

390 4 bbl. with new Edelbrock carb. 4 speed granny trans.

New clutch in 2013.

NO smoke. Doesn't burn any oil.

STRONG oil pressure, uns cool all year round. Aftermarket mechanical gauges don't lie like dummy lights.

STRONG, TRONG truck!!! Motor pulls like a mule and will run 75 mph with a 4000lb. car on the back all day long. Done it several times.

Rebuilt RAMSEY 10,000 lbs. winch with remote and 100' of cable.

Bed has boom for rear upward lifting.

Rear loading lights for night hauling.
ROCK SOLID FRAME!!!
SOLID floors and cab mounts.

New U-Joints, 2) new drive shafts and new carriers done by CTC/Precision Driveline in Chandler, N. 3 months ago.

LED taillights, ear reese hitch and plug for hauling a trailer too if needed.

Everything works on and inside this truck. All gauges and lights inside and out work great!!

Heat will run you out!
Old tape deck works great too.

ALL (6) NEW TIRES over $900 ($668.00 rears & $372 fronts) in tires alone less than 6 months old.

I installed a new master cylinder, rake booster and all (4) wheel cylinders.

Work boxes on the sides for straps and tools.

FLAWS:
1) MECHANICAL: Does have an ANNOYINGdrivers side exhaust manifold gasket leak (typical FE) but I haven't had time to replace it this winter.Quiets down a little bit after engine warms up but still annoying.I did replace both donut gaskets about a year ago.
2) COSMETICS: Looks WONDERFUL in PICTURES BUT..its more like a 20 footer. Does have some previous Bondo work on lower front fenders/door bottoms but the rest of the truck is VERY solid and sound. Old industrial acrylic paint job that still shows decent and is easy to touch up.

Titled to ME, n my hand with a book of receipts and paperwork on the trucks repairs I have done and the previous owner.

I would drive this truck home ANYWHERE!

Truck gets A LOT of attention everywhere I drive it. Especially with an old car on board.
