1964 1/2 Ford Mustang V8, 289 4bbl, D code coupe, original solid California car

1964 1/2 Ford Mustang. V8 289. 4 bbl. d code coupe. nbsp; C4 automatic. nbsp;factory guardsman blue exterior color. blue vinyl interior. factory front and rear drum brakes. nbsp; new brake booster. nbsp;power steering. undercarriage has been cleaned and repainted - looks very nice. no metal has been replaced anywhere on the car. all original quarter panels. doors. fenders. hood. nbsp;floor is all original. moldings. chrome. everything looks very nice. this car has taken approximately 6 months to go through. Drivetrain 289 V8 4bbl engine. Engine was removed and freshened up with new rings. bearings and gaskets. 3 angle valve job and heads were resurfaced. factory 4100 Autolite carburator was rebuilt. Less than 5 miles on engine since rebuild. All the original engine parts were retained such as rods. crank and pistons. Engine was repainted its factory color as well as the aircleaner for the carburator. The transmission was cleaned. checked/inspected and was reinstalled. new gas tank was installed. 4 brand new tires. Interior was redone with new front and back seat covers. dash pad. new steering wheel(horn relay replaced as well as horn works fine). carpet. original headliner was kept because it was in xlnt condition. Air conditioning has been converted to 134. Exterior paint of the car was completely stripped down to the bare metal and was primered. sealed. block sanded and painted with 2 stage PPG urethane paint with 3 coats of clearcoat. paint was color sanded and buffed for that show quality mirror finish. In addition. everything was taken off of the car before being painted. ll moldings. trim. front and back head and tail lights. door handles. locks. front and rear bumpers were removed and reinstalled after paint work was complete.
