You are bidding on a beautiful 1956Ford Country Sedan 4 Door Wagon
This car belongs to a good friend of mine for many years now and he's asked ff I would help sell it for him. We have been going to car shows together for many years and he collects nice cars as you can see. That being said he's decided to sell a couple of them. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the car and I will do my best to get answers to them as quickly as possible.
This car wascompletelyredone about 3-4 years ago. The owner bought it 4 years ago andimmediatelytore into restoring the car. The car was rust free and we have some pics that show all of that. The car was originally a school bus in Kansas, ome of the pics show the yellow and white paint job and school bus lettering on the top of it. Crazy history right there! The car was taken all the way down and brought back to what you see here in the pics!
Drivetrain:
The wagon started out life with a Y-block V8 with automatic transmission. It now runs a new Ford Racing302 Double X Ford Crate motor - 385 HP - M-6007-X302, nbsp;(all the paperwork comes it) and an AODtransmission, hey are both basically brand new with around 10K to 11K miles on them.
This thing runs amazingly and out of the many collector cars the owner has currently, t is the one that he has driven more than the others. The miles put on it have beenprimarilygoing to shows in Knoxville, ouisville and here inNashville. The motor breathes in through a Holleycarburetor and breathes out througha set of full length ceramic coated headers. It has a nice deep throat sound and the cam sound very nice. The motor was built by Ford Racing with roller rockers, oller cam, luminum heads, asically lots of money spent on this thing on all the right stuff. This car was built to be a reliable driver and that isexactly what it is.
OTHER UPGRADES:
- It has been upgraded to power steering and power 4 wheel disc brakes.
- Vintage Air was added to it and it will RUN YOU OUT in the summertime.
- It has new tires.
- New aluminumradiator
- Electric fan and overflow tank
- New 9 inchrearedwith 3:89 gears.
- GPS Skydrive Speedometer - this picks up GPS and tells you exactly how fast you aregoing, ven if youchange your tire size or gearing.
EXTERIOR:
The car has it's original chrome and stainless trim (all polished when the care was redone). Some chrome pieces should be plated if you want perfect, ut they are presentable. The paint was done 3-4 years ago with the rest of the car and looksfantastic! It's as nice as it looks.Theremay be a nice here or there but nothing big. It's nice car and whoever ends up with it will love it!
INTERIOR:
The interior has all beencompletelyredone with the rest of the car about 4 years ago. As you can see in the pics it looks amazing and looks great with the paint job.The car has an aftermarket AM/FM radio.
The car runs and drives perfect, t has not issues and could be trusted to drive anywhere. It will make someone an excellent car. It is an old car and therefore no warranty is given. The owner also reservestheright to sell it locally and end the listing.
The owner loves the car and has driven it more than all the others hecurrentlyowns but he has decided it's time to let it go.
If you have questions, lease send them my way and I'll do my best to get with him to get you the rightanswers. I'm a pastor full-time but I help friendssell their collector cars from time to time and I too am agearhead. I love these old cars and enjoy meeting others in the hobby. If you are serious buyer, essage me and I willgetyou my number to help with anything I can.
