First here are some basics: This is a ONE-OWNER CALIFORNIA 2004 Ford F450 XL model Super Duty Utility Contractor/ Welder/ Service Truck with the 6. 0L Powerstroke engine. By the way. the truck is much taller than it looks. it has the 19. 5” tires on it. which is a few inches shy of Tractor truck tires. It sits as tall or taller than most 4WD trucks do. The engine and transmission both are working EXCELLENT and have no issues and are working as they should. shifting is smooth at all speeds. The Engine was recently serviced and received an oil change with synthetic motor oil. We only put the best oil in a vehicle so it will last a good long time. Above the standard XL truck basics. this truck also has Tilt. Cruise & A/C that blows nice and cold. Some fun adds that were done recently (or are still in the process) to the truck are: 1. Installed is a Jensen Stereo with NAVIGATION & BLUETOOTH for hands free operation of your phone/music. It can play DVD’s and has many other cool features like a graphic equalizer for the stereo. Included is a FREE BACK UP CAMERA that will need to be installed. Our local radio guy puts the installation at about $200. which I will have it installed in prior to pick up if purchased at the BUY IT NOW price. 2. The front end has been updated to that of a 2007 model and with chrome features: The bumper was upgraded to a brand new chrome bumper. The Grille has been updated to a custom 2007 Chrome grill. the headlights will be upgraded to 2007 model as well. There will be front fender flares installed shortly. 3. A new chrome appearance package has been installed on the rims. The mud flaps are being replaced with chrome-trimmed new ones with the Chrome anti-sail brackets. All tires are in great shape with good thick tread and wearing evenly as seen in the pics. 4. The lower bench seat bottom has been reupholstered new. The upper has been reconditioned to match the bottom in newer appearance. it was in great shape. The doors and interior trim are all in very good condition. minor scuffs and scrapes here and there but in very good condition. Nothing missing or broken on the interior. 5. The front suspension got $2. 00 in work replacing shocks. stabilizer links and a few other parts (I can provide detailed info upon request). The truck also has received a 4-wheel alignment and is driving fantastically. 6. The rack and parts of the Utility bed have been treated with a professional grade rust inhibitor. primed and repainted for greater long term durability and a like new appearance. Sorry. the lights along the bed are shown taped up in the pics. I spent hours taping them off getting ready for the paint I didn’t want to take them off for the photos shoot and spend the same time to put them back on. 7. As utility truck beds get a little used and banged up under normal usage. the bed has been treated with a professional grade rust inhibitor treatment readying it for priming and then painting for a near new appearance. The rack on the truck is heavy duty. made of 3” x 2” x 3/16” tube steel. it’s very strong and ready for some serious duty! It was missing one of the removable cross members also 3x2x3/16” steel so I replaced all 3 cross members with some much lighter weight but very strong 3” x2” x 1/4” Aluminum tube steel that I had researched that had nearly the same tensile strength as the steel in 3/16”. but I still upgraded to the thicker ¼” size. The aluminum is very easy for you to remove and store if needed. I have etch-primed and painted the cross members white so they don’t stand out as aluminum to passerby’s. Also in the back of the bed is a Fuel transfer tank. I’m not sure of the size. but it has to be more than 50 gallons if not 100. On top of the rack are 2 rotating caution lights. The switches for the lights and tank are in the cab and everything functions as it should. On the front half of the flatbed are 6 utility boxes with locking handles. a key provided works all the boxes. The back of the flat bed has stake bed rails that are hinged on chrome channels so they open down and flat against the bed so you can easily load from all 3 sides. This truck is ready to represent your company well and make you a lot of money as well as saving you money in depreciation! If you drive it for 100-150k miles. you still can probably get $8-$10k for it! That is smart money management for the long haul.
